[ OBJECTIVE ]

Find a creative concept and based on it design a recipe book and bookmark. The book should engage readers and teach them something. Also, the bookmark should work together with the book as a whole system. 

[ APPROACH ]

I went to a book store to find a recipe book concept I liked, then I got the food concept of mushroom because I like to do outside activities. I wanted to design a book which can teach people how to pick mushrooms in the wild and cook them. I researched of how to pick mushroom safely in forest. When I started to design the book, I created a plan for the direction of my design. After that, I started to find the images of different mushrooms and forests, I also applied colors, appropriate typefaces, illustrations and layouts that worked together for this book. In the end, I put all the knowledge together to design the book.
